be readily understood that this square-root angle frame enables the
electro-glazed plate to fit directly in the rabbet of the sash (see
detail drawings), making as perfect a joint as glass, while in the lead
mounting the clumsy heavy border does not fit the rabbet, and it is
impossible to make this joint weather tight.
