This large "Pyrex" housing, the first neon insulator
produced by the Corning Glass Works, was introduced in 1936. Since
that time over 2,000,000 have been installed in practically every type
of neon sign, both large and small, and have given unequalled service
under every possible condition. Furnished with heavy cadmium plated
ferrule and phosphor bronze contact spring. Other parts are cadmium
plated or made of corrosion resisting metals.
