successors, do give and grant, vnto the said Richard Cole, his executors, administrators, and assignes, speciall lycence, full power, sole priviledge and authority, that he, the said Richard Cole, his executors, administrators, and assignes, and every of them, by themselves, or his or their deputy or deputys, servants or agents, or such others as the said Richard Cole, his executors, administrators, or assignes, shall at any time or times agree with, and no others, from time to time and at all times during the terme of yeares herein-after expressed, shall and lawfully make vse, exercise, and enjoy the said Invenc̃on within any part or parts, place or places whatsoever, of, in, or belonging to this our kingdome of England and dominion of Wales, in such manner and according to such reasonable and lawfull rates and limitac̃ons as to him, the said Richard Cole, his executors, administrators, and assignes, or any of them, shall, in their discretions, seem meet, and that he, the said Richard Cole, his executors, administrators, and assignes, shall and may have and enjoy to his and their own vse and vses, the sole benefitt, profitt, c̅modity, the advantage, from time to time comeing, growing, accrewing, and ariseing by reason of the said Invenc̃on, for and during the full terme of years hereafter menc̃oned, to have, hold, exercise, and enjoy the same lycence, powers, priviledges, and advantages herein-before granted, or meant, mentioned, or intended to be hereby granted, vnto the said Richard Cole, his executors, administrators, and assignes, for and during and vnto the full end and terme of fourteen yeares from the date of these presents next and im̅ediately ensueing, and full to be compleate and ended, according to the statute in the case made and provided. And to the end that the said Richard Cole, his executors, administrators, and assignes, and every of them, may have and enjoy the full and entire benefitt and the sole makeing, vending, vse, and exercise of the said Invenc̃on, according to our gratious intentions herein-before declared, and wee do by these presents, for vs, our heires and successors, require and strictly c̅mand all and every person and persons, bodies politick and corporate, and all other our subiects whatsoever, of what estate, quality, or degree, name or condic̃on whatsoever that be, within our kingdom of England and dominion of Wales, that neither they nor any of them, at any time or times during the continuance of the said terme of fourteen years hereby granted, either directly or indirectly, do make, vse, vse, exercise, or put in practice the said Invention, or any part of the same, soe attained vnto by the said Richard Cole, as aforesaid, nor shall in any wise counterfeit, imitate, or resemble the same, nor shall make, or cause to be made, any addition thereto or substracc̃on from the same, whereby to pretend himselfe or themselves the inventor or inventors, deviser or devisers thereof, |
