To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, HENRY F. BELCHER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a certain new and original Designs for Prism-Lights, of which the following is a specification. My invention relates to designs for prism-lights. Figure 1 is a plan view of a prism-light embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a cross-section therethrough. A is the body of the prism-light; B, one side thereof; C, a series of prisms thereon; D D, a series of broken or chipped prisms. As illustrated in the drawings, the fractured or broken prisms present a series of |
somewhat regularly-distributed, but irregularly-bordered, recessed, or
hollowed-out surfaces. The work is called "fracto-work," and the appearance
may be described as that of a series of rain-drops stretched along in regular
rows. The essential features of my design are found in a prism-light comprising a substantially flat thin body with a series of mutilated prisms on one side thereof. I claim-- The design for a prism-light, substantially as shown and described.
