ROSS PATENT.
|
We would like to call your attention to the
new Ross light which we are now enabled to offer to the public.
This is by far the greatest improvement made in vault light work,
being one whereby we are able to greatly increase the light and
thus make deep basements more valuable. This plate is cast with
shoulders in the hole where the glass is inserted, whereby the
glass, with corresponding shoulders, can be inserted from below,
and then being partly turned around, is thereby fastened in so
secure a manner when cemented, that it cannot be got out without
breaking it to pieces, nor can it be jarred loose.
