THE impulse flashover data presented on this page cover the Pyrex suspension insulators listed in this catalogue. They were obtained in accordance with the recommendations for impulse voltage testing presented by the Lighting and Insulator Sub-Committee of the A.I.E.E. Power Transmission and Distribution Committee in January, 1933. The 1½ x 40µ sec. wave was used in obtaining these impulse flashover data because it more nearly approximates line conditions.
