THE DALE LIGHT.

In calling for the Dale Light, mention the Dale Improved Concrete Light, for which we are the sole licensees in the United States.
The following letter, from Mr. Eaton, Superintendent of the State Capitol at Albany, to E. O. Perrin, Clerk of the Court of Appeals, sole owner of ``The Dale Improved Light,'' will show the estimate in which this light is held by a competent person who has used it for years in the most exposed situations, and in a most trying climate for heat and cold.

OFFICE SUPERINTENDENT OF THE CAPITOL.
ALBANY, JANUARY 23d, 1883.
HON E. O. PERRIN,

    DEAR SIR:
Having fully tested the advantages of the ``Dale Improved Illuminating Tiling,'' for areas, vaults, floors, skylights, etc., it is with pleasure I recommend it for economy, beauty of appearance, and general utility, as superior to the ``Bull's Eye'' and all other tiling I have ever used.
Some years ago, Mr. Dale, the inventor, put into the Capitol his ``Improved Tile,'' which gave such satisfaction that we have used no other kind of tiling since.
Messrs. Tice & Jacobs, of New York, who, I believe, are sole licensees for the Dale Light (now owned by you) have more recently furnished and put down the same light, and it has given entire satisfaction for all purposes.
I am satisfied all persons using your improved light will find it a great improvement upon the old style of Illuminating Tile.

Respectfully yours,
JAMES E. EATON, SUP.
