SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,866, dated April 6, 1897.
Application filed February 9, 1897. Serial No. 622,672. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, OLIN H. BASQUIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Design for Ornamental Prism-Tiles, of which the following is a description.
My invention relates to a new design for an ornamental prism-tile and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein--
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a prism-tile embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a section.
As herein illustrated, the prism-tile consists of the body portion A, provided with the prism B, having the plain side surfaces and the converting surfaces C and D, the surface C being a curved surface.
The surface C is a reflecting-surface and the surface D a refracting-surface. The side surfaces are planes.
The essential features of the design are the upper part with the projecting part B, provided with one curved surface and three plane surfaces, as shown.
    I claim--
The design for a prism-tile having a projecting part or prism, provided with one curved surface and three plane surfaces as shown.
OLIN H. BASQUIN.
