Vault lights in the old part of downtown Mountain View, California.

Founded as a stage stop and agricultural center, Mtn View incorporated in 1902 with fewer than 1000 residents. It was originally covered in orchards and vineyards, sadly now gone. Most business districts built during the peak years of vault lights (1900 to 1930) used vault lights, even the smaller towns.
